Timbaclad cc. is situated in Knysna the heart of the Garden Route. We manufacture, treat and supply timber products associated with timber houses ie: solid and half logs, cladding, decking, poles and pickets. Any visitor to the Garden Route will notice a vast amount of timber houses built, and might associate them with holidays. This is not the case as most of these dwellings are permanently occupied by their owners. A large number of these houses have been constructed using Half-logs or Solid-logs, manufactured and supplied by Timbaclad.

All the timber that Timbaclad use in the manufacture of their products is sourced in and around the Southern Cape and is FSC accredited. The Radiata Pine grown in this area is know for its strength and thus is ideal for use in timber home construction

Part-owing a treatment facility (Treats of Knysna) ensures that all their products are treated in accordance to the standards as laid down by the South African Bureau of Standards.

There are three options available for the builder when it comes to the treatment of Timbaclad products. They can be treated with CCA (the green treatment as it is called by many). TBTN, which is a colourless treatment, has no dimensional effect on the timber and allows the contractor to stain the finished product/home to meet the requirements of their clients. The last option that is available is TBTN Waks. This is the same as TBTN but with a Waks additive, giving the timber a golden colour and acts as water repellent.
